Walking around campus around 8:00 p.m isn't the safest thing to do, especially if you're three girls.
But these three girls are reporters, trying to get useful information that effects the whole student body.
Lets just say those guys in the yellow t-shirts around campus don't understand that .
First hand I want to say that I am really disappointed on how the police department handles themselves.
I never would have thought that it would be so hard to get them to answer a couple of questions that is beneficial to the students here at campus.
Campus safety is their job. They wake up everyday and know that is up to them to make sure nobody gets in danger or at least try their best to prevent it.
So why get so defensive when we ask them what they do every night when they patrol campus.
We have asked several patrol officers and we usually got the boot every time.
Their excuse was that they had to make sure it was okay with their chief police.
We told them several times that we had already had an interview with the chief and we didn't see the problem is them telling us what they're job entailed of.
It isn't that difficult to state to someone what you basically do for a living.
We never asked for them to tell us incriminating information, or personal subjects.
All we wanted to know was the basic things that they're job as campus traffic controllers were
Come on now, you patrol the school parking lots, not the white house!!!!
